About the Event

World-class Coarse Angling in the heart of Greater Manchester

The Gratitude Games angling competition will be held at Boggart Hole Clough — a beautiful woodland and urban country park set within ancient woodland with picturesque cloughs, on 7th June 2026.

The lake is well stocked with Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Common Carp, Mirror Carp and Ghost Carp.

The competition is open to all. Held in conjunction with the King William IV Angling Society and the Angling Trust.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day in the Community Café next to the fishing lake.

Coaching sessions will also take place alongside the competition so book your coaching session and learn a new sport.

Community Coaching
